Quick Experience
This function allows a terminal user to quickly experience an authentication-based network access process. Operators only need to perform these configurations in UAM: add an access user, add an access service, select the access device and authentication port, configure the authentication mode (802.1X or Portal) and related parameters. In addition, operators can configure simple security check items as needed. With the configuration, UAM automatically deploys the default AAA and domain name configuration to the access device.
- User and service configuration: Add a user and an access user attached to the user, set a password for the access user, and enter the access service name and service suffix.
- Device configuration: Select an access device and the authentication port on the device from the INC Platform. UAM automatically deploys the AAA configuration, domain name configuration, and 802.1X configuration to the selected device.
- Security check configuration: Configure a security policy name, select a security level, and select whether to enable anti-virus check and running process check. The security check configuration area is available only after the EAD component is deployed.
- Portal configuration: You can also configure portal authentication for portal-capable devices. The access method can be Layer 3 or Directly Connected, both of which require IP address group configuration. To use Layer 3 access method, you must also configure source authentication networks. Portal configuration is available only after the INC portal component is deployed.
Select the User tab, and then in the navigation tree select Access User > Quick Experience to enter the quick experience page. After you complete the configuration, the result page displays the operation result of each configuration item.
Precautions
- Quick experience does not support deploying configuration to HP wireless devices, and does not support deploying 802.1X configuration to Intelbras routers and wireless devices.
- The quick experience feature is not available on INC that has an upper layer node.
- If no service suffix is configured, UAM creates the default domain with the name default_domain on the device.
- When you select devices, do not select existing access devices or portal devices.
