Configure Client Anti-Crack
UAM performs identity authentication and security check on each user who attempts to access the network. Unauthorized users might bypass identity authentication and security check by using cracked, tempered, or forged client.
To prevent unauthorized users, UAM offers a client anti-crack solution to identify and prevent unauthorized network access. The solution requires the iNode client, UAM, and access devices work together. You must configure iNode Management Center addresses in UAM.
Functions
-
Click the User tab on the top navigation bar, and select User Access Policy > Service Parameters > System Settings from the left navigation tree to enter the system configuration page.
-
Click the Client Anti-Crack link.
-
Click Add. Enter the IP address and remarks, and then click OK.
-
To modify an iNode Management Center, click the Modify icon for the target entry on the iNode Management Center IP list and modify parameters. The IP address cannot be modified.
-
To delete an iNode Management Center, click the Delete icon for the target entry on the iNode Management Center IP list.
-
Click Validate. After successful validation, the iNode management centers are in validated state. The anti-crack function is available only on validated iNode management centers.
Precautions
- Before the validation, make sure all iNode management centers are correctly installed and can correctly communicate with UAM. When an iNode management center is validated, UAM deletes the existing client dictionary and connects to the center for a new dictionary. If no dictionary is available, user authentication fails from the client with the client anti-crack function enabled.
