Device User Group
Device user groups allow you to configure the login type and EXEC priority for device users by group.Additionally, you can configure multiple authorization scenarios for a device user group. For each authorization scenario, you can configure the login type, proprietary attribute assignment policy, and EXEC priority.
Functions
- Add/Modify Device User Group
Operation Procedure
- Click the User tab. From the navigation tree, select Access User > Device User > Device User Group.
- Click Add, or click the Modify icon
for an existing device user group.
- Configure the device user group parameters, including the group name, login type, and EXEC priority.
- Click OK.
- Delete Device User Group
Operation Procedure
- Click the User tab. From the navigation tree, select Access User > Device User > Device User Group.
- Click the Delete icon
for the device user group you want to delete, and then click OK in the confirmation dialog box.
Precautions
- The login type, proprietary attribute assignment policy, and EXEC priority configured for a device user takes precedence over the settings configured for an authorization scenario of a device user group. The login type, proprietary attribute assignment policy, and EXEC priority configured for an authorization scenario of a device user group takes precedence over the settings configured for the device user group to which the device user belongs.
