Device User Group

Device user groups allow you to configure the login type and EXEC priority for device users by group.Additionally, you can configure multiple authorization scenarios for a device user group. For each authorization scenario, you can configure the login type, proprietary attribute assignment policy, and EXEC priority.

Functions

• Add/Modify Device User Group

Operation Procedure

1. Click the User tab. From the navigation tree, select Access User > Device User > Device User Group.
2. Click Add, or click the Modify icon for an existing device user group.
3. Configure the device user group parameters, including the group name, login type, and EXEC priority.
4. Click OK.
• Delete Device User Group

Operation Procedure

1. Click the User tab. From the navigation tree, select Access User > Device User > Device User Group.
2. Click the Delete icon for the device user group you want to delete, and then click OK in the confirmation dialog box.

Precautions

• The login type, proprietary attribute assignment policy, and EXEC priority configured for a device user takes precedence over the settings configured for an authorization scenario of a device user group. The login type, proprietary attribute assignment policy, and EXEC priority configured for an authorization scenario of a device user group takes precedence over the settings configured for the device user group to which the device user belongs.
