RADIUS Track
To guarantee the reliability of the INC system and the traceability of operations, INC provides the function of tracing logs. The function of tracing RADIUS tracks records and shows the detailed authentication and accounting information of the specified user within the specified time range.
Parameters
Query Criteria
- Account Name: The account name of an access user. You can input a complete account name, or input an account name in the format of complete account name@service suffix. If you input a complete account name, you can query all the authentication and accounting packets of the user during the login. If you input the account name in the format of complete account name@service suffix, you can query the authentication and accounting packets during the time when the user uses the service specified by the service suffix for login. When the accounting name is not specified, you cannot query logs.
- Start Time/End time: The start time must be earlier than the end time, and the time range must contain less than 7 days. You must input the start time and end time in the form of YYYY-MM-DD hh:mm.
Basic Log Information
- Logging Time: Time when the log is recorded.
- Login username: Username for authentication. If the username for authentication does not have a service suffix, the login username is the same as the account name; if the username for authentication has a service suffix, the login username is account name@service suffix.
- Packet Type: Type of the AAA packet, such as authentication request, authentication success, and authentication failure.
- Request/Response ID: Unique identifier of a pair of request and response.
- Event ID: Uniquely identifies a complete login process of a user.
- Log Contents: Contents of the log.
Precautions
- This feature is available only when the UAM and INC platform are deployed on the same server.
- To use this function, you must set the log level of the system to Debug. For how to set the system log level, see Configure UAM System Operation Log Parameters. If the log file saved in the UAM is deleted because it expires or the log file encounters a format error when it is recorded, you will fail to query the RADIUS tracks. The log file is saved in the INC installation path\uam\log directory.
