LDAP Service

LDAP server stores user information in a tree structure. A user in an LDAP server is called an LDAP user.

The UAM component can associate access users in INC with LDAP users. When an access user initiates an authentication request, INC first checks whether there is such a user. If yes, it authenticates the user locally or forwards the authentication request to the LDAP server, depending on the configuration. With this function, you do not need to rebuild the user information database when deploying INC in a relatively stable network. This helps you reduce the maintenance cost dramatically.
