Roaming
The system provides a list of all online users roaming around, including information such as their login names and roaming types. When a user roams to a UAM, an administrator of the UAM can view information related with the service used by the user.The administrator can also specify certain conditions to query for roaming users.

- Proxy Type: UAM role in user authentication .
- Device to proxy type: Home UAM that receives the user authentication request from an access device and forwards the request to another UAM server for authentication. After the user passes authentication, the proxy type of this user is set to Device to proxy on home UAM.
- Proxy to proxy type: A UAM server that receives the user authentication request forwarded by home UAM, and then forwards the request to another UAM server for authentication. After the user passes authentication, the proxy type of this user is set to Proxy to proxy on the UAM server.
Precautions
- Roaming online users do not use the license of the source UAM server. They use the license of the local UAM server.
- The systemdoes not record security logs for roaming users.
- Roaming online users cannot send EAD packets. As a result, some information (for example, the client customization time) of a roaming online user cannot be obtained at the home location of the user.
