User Upper Limit
Use this function to set the user upper limit of a user group.
Operation Procedure
- Click the User tab. From the navigation tree, select Access User > All Access Users.
- Click More and select User Upper Limit from the shortcut menu.
- Select the User Upper Limit option.
- In the user upper limit list, click the Modifyicon for a user group to modify the upper limit settings for the user group.
Parameters
- Upper Limit (Including Subgroups): Specifies the maximum number of users the user group and its subgroups can contain.
- Upper Limit (Current Group Only): Specifies the maximum number of users the user group can contain.
Precautions
- The user upper limit applies only to access users, and it does not apply to platform users.
- The user upper limit settings of a user group do not apply to the number of the following users:
- Mute terminal users.
- Preregistered users and guests.
- Users that have passed the third-party authentication.
- LDAP users that are synchronized based on on-demand sync policies.
- If you do not enter a value, the maximum number of users in this user group is unlimited.
- Set Upper Limit (Current Group Only) to a value not smaller than the number of users existing in the user group.
- The Upper Limit (Including Subgroups) of a user group cannot be smaller than the sum of the following:
- Upper Limit (Including Subgroups) of all subgroups directly attached to the user group.
- Upper Limit (Current Group Only) of the user group.
- If a user group has a parent group, the Upper Limit (Including Subgroups) of the group cannot be larger than that of the parent group minus the following:
- Upper Limit (Including Subgroups) of all the other groups attached to the parent group.
- Upper Limit (Current Group Only) of the parent group.
- Set Upper Limit (Including Subgroups) of a user group toUnlimited in either of the following situations:
- The user group contains a subgroup that does not limit the user number.
- Upper Limit (Current Group Only)of the user group is set toUnlimited .
