SMS Notification

This function allows you to configure different SMS notifications based on user groups.

Functions

• Add User SMS Notification

  Operation Procedure

  1. Click the User tab. From the navigation tree, select Access User > Deliver Message. ClickSMS Notification.
  2. Click Add.
  3. Enter a notification ID.
  4. Enter text in the SMS Notification Contents field according to the tips above the field.
  5. Type: Select the Password Notification,Approval Reminder,Dynamic Password,Guest Registration Rejection Notification,Guest Account Expiration Notification,Blacklist Notification.
  6. Select a user group in the User Group List area to receive the SMS notification.
  7. Click OK.
• Modify User SMS Notification

  Operation Procedure

  1. Click the User tab. From the navigation tree, select Access User > Deliver Message > SMS Notification.
  2. Click the Modify icon for the notification whose content you want to modify.
  3. Enter text in the SMS Notification Contents field according to the tips above the field.
  4. Type: Select the Password Notification,Approval Reminder,Dynamic Password,Guest Registration Rejection Notification,Guest Account Expiration Notification,Blacklist Notification.
  5. Select a user group in the User Group List area to receive the SMS notification.
  6. Click OK.
• Delete User SMS Notification

  Operation Procedure

  1. Click the User tab. From the navigation tree, select Access User > Deliver Message > SMS Notification.
  2. Click the Delete icon for the notification you want to delete.
• SMS Settings

Precautions

• UAM sends an SMS notification to users only when they belong to the specified user groups.
• A user group can be associated with only one user SMS notification.
• If the message contains more than 140 characters, the message content is divided and sent in multiple messages.
• It can be selected according to the following different types of applicable scenarios:
1. Password Notification: This notification can be used when the password changes, fails or is about to expire.
2. Approval Reminder: This notification can be used when "Pre-Register Guest" to be approved by the "Guest manager" need to be approved.
3. Dynamic Password: Users need random dynamic password and can use this notification to send random dynamic password and other information.
4. Guest Registration Rejection Notification: When the registration of "Guest" is rejected, you can use this notification to send information such as the reason for the refusal.
5. Guest Account Expiration Notification: If "Guest" is about to expire or has expired, you can use this notification to send the expiration time and other information.
6. Denylist Notification: This notification can be used when the access account is added to the denylist.
7. Verification Code Notification: This notification can be used when the registration of "Guest" get verification code.
