Monthly Flat Rate Charging
Scenario Description
It is required to provide a monthly charged service for users in a residential area, for example, 50 hours with the flat rate of 40 dollars per month. Configure to associate the service with the IP-MAC binding of the users, IP address, and port of the access device.
Scenario Analysis
Configure a monthly flat rate charging plan in CAMS. A user who applies for the service with the charging plan referenced can access the network. CAMS records and saves the access details of each user. CAMS provides service for users until they have been accessing the network for 50 hours. Then CAMS logs out them automatically. In addition, CAMS records each payment for future checking.

Precautions
If both the charging plan and charged service are configured, but monthly charged service is not available for the user. Follow the steps to solve the problem.
- If the account is a prepaid account with the balance of 0, the user using the account cannot access the network due to insufficient balance. In this case, recharge the account with the recharge amount not less than the fixed fee.
- If the account is an ordinary account, the bill status is Not billed, and cannot transition to the paid status. In this case, bill the account manually or wait until system bills the account automatically. Then the bill status is outstanding. Recharge the account to change the bill status to paid.
