DAM FAQ

Why can't I find the Add and Batch Import buttons on the asset list page?

The Add and Batch Import buttons are not available when the Auto Number function is enabled. With this function, DAM automatically adds assets through the iNode client and does not support manual add and import operations.

How do I enable the Auto Number function?

Before you can enable the Auto Number function, you must make sure DAM does not include any asset. Otherwise, the Auto Number parameter cannot be configured on the DAM service configuration page.

What information does the asset scanning function provide?

The scanning result displays the most recent asset information, including whether the asset is online or offline, the software and hardware changes, and the USB file transfer violations.

Why can't I edit the number and name for an asset?

Check the status of the asset. When the asset is in Online or Offline state, its asset number and name can be edited only through the iNode client.

Why isn't the Owner field editable when I add or modify an asset?

You cannot enter values in the Owner field. To change the owner for an asset, click the Select button to locate an INC Platform user.

Why can't PCs sometimes shut down at the scheduled time that is specified in the energy-saving policy?

The PCs might be running programs that block the shutdown instruction from the operating system. As a result, the PCs cannot be shut down at the scheduled time.

Why does the Verify Asset node appear only on the left navigation tree, but it does not appear on the top navigation bar?

The issue appears when asset verification is enabled in system parameter settings by another operator. To resolve the issue, relog in to INC.
