Parameters
- Adaptation Period (in days): Number of days before the current date. A terminal's anti-virus software is considered valid only if the software is using a virus scan engine or virus definitions released during this period. If the value is set to 0, the anti-virus engine version or virus definition version is not checked.
Precautions
- An anti-virus software name represents a series of anti-virus software. Users can install any software in this series.
- The iNode client checks whether any anti-virus software in the anti-virus software list runs on the terminal in the order of priority. If yes, the iNode client stops the check and reports the status of the anti-virus software to the security policy server.
- The virus definition version of Trend Micro anti-virus software can be in date or dot format. The iNode client first obtains and checks the version in date format. If it fails to get it, it obtains and checks the version in dotted format.
- Because the version in internal interface of the anti-virus software might be different from the version in the output, the format of the version displayed on the About page might be different from the format of the version obtained by the iNode client. In this case, configure the version in the format of the version obtained by the iNode client. For compatibility, preferentially select Date or dotted format and configure the version in both the date format and the dotted format.
- For the Tencent endpoint protection anti-virus software, only the Date or dotted format option is available for the Check virus definition version field.
