Patching Software

INC EAD provides a hierachical patch management mode. In this mode, INC EAD does not check patches directly; it only checks whether a terminal PC is installed with and running the required professional Patching Software. The Patching Software checks the patches on the PC. INC EAD does not allow you to specify which Patching Software to check. It supports checking only the software provided in the list.

You can perform the following operations:

• Check that Patching Software is installed and running on user PCs. To do that, select the user PCs in the Check column.
• Sort the Patching Software by priority. To do that, click the move up or move down icon in the Priority column. The software in the top row has the highest priority and will be checked first.
