Trap Filter Configuration of Devices not in The System

This function enables the system to discard received traps from devices that are not added into The System . When the configured threshold is reached, the system generates an alarm.

Operation Procedure

1. Click the Alarm tab, and then select Filtering Trap in the navigation tree. The Filtering Trap page appears.
2. Click the Modify icon for the trap filter of devices not in The System . The Trap Filter Configuration of Devices not in The System page appears.
3. You can perform the following operations on the Trap Filter Configuration of Devices not in The System page:
   • Select whether to escalate traps to alarms. If yes, specify a threshold.
   • Select whether to filter traps received from devices not in The System .
4. Click OK.

Precautions

• You can specify a threshold only after selecting the Escalate to Alarms.
