Add Monitor

This function allows you to add one or more monitors for real-time performance monitoring.

Operation Procedure

Click the Home tab or Resource tab on the top navigation bar, and select Performance Management > Real-Time Monitor in the navigation tree.
Click Monitor List on the toolbar in the upper corner of the page, and select Add on the menu. The dialog box for adding a monitor appears.
Type the monitor name.
Set the access right for the operator groups.
Click OK.

Parameters

Parameters related to adding a monitor are described in the following table:

Field	Description
Monitor Name	This item is required and the value ranges from 1 to 100 characters.
Operator Group	The system operator group.
Access Right	The read/write right of the operator group.
Read Only	The operator group can only view the monitor.
Read/Write	The operator group can view, modify, and delete the monitor, and can add, modify, or delete the monitor graphs of the monitor.

Precautions

Due to the system resources consumed by real-time monitoring, you can monitor up to 10 monitor items at a time.
The operator group that created the monitor has the read/write right, which cannot be modified.
When you assign certain access right to an operator group, you must select the operator group.
When you access the Real-Time Monitoring page that has no monitors, the Add Monitor page automatically appears.
