IP/MAC Binding

This function allows you to bind IP addresses to MAC addresses, so as to prevent IP addresses from being changed easily, enforce centralized IP address management, and defend against security threats.

The system manages the IP-to-MAC bindings configured by operators. When a user intends to access the network by using an incorrect IP/MAC binding, the system displays an alarm about the security risk.

This function does not deliver data to devices. Different from the binding function supported by the devices, these IP/MAC bindings are stored and maintained on the system.

You can select existing IP/MAC bindings from an auto scan result, or manually add IP/MAC bindings as needed. IP/MAC binding information includes the IP address, MAC address and Owner.
