Set Poll Interval

This function helps you set poll interval for the specified device. The system polls the device configuration and status at the set interval, and updates the data to the system database.

Operation Procedure

1. Click the Resource tab and select View Management > Device View from the navigation tree to enter the device list page.
2. Click a link in the Device Label column for a device to enter the page showing the details of the device.
3. Click the Modify Poll Interval link on the right pane.
4. Set the poll interval and the status poll interval.
5. Click OK.

Parameters

• Configuration Poll Interval: The system reads the reachability status, operation time, and interface status of the specified devices at the interval. The system reads all information of the specified devices at six times of the interval.
• Status Poll Interval: The system checks whether the device is connective and updates the device state at the set interval.
