SSH
SSH(Secure Shell), a secure remote login protocol based on Telnet, supports password and secret key authentication(RSA/DSA) and ensure data transmission security.
Operation Procedure
- Click the Resource tab and select View Management > Device View from the navigation tree to enter the device list page.
- Click a link in the Device Label column for a device to enter the page showing the details of the device.
- Click the SSH link on the right pane.
Precautions
- The SSH link is invisible if the device does not support SSH.
- Chrome42+ disables NPAPI, including JRE. Because of this, INC cannot open applet when using Chrome 42+.
- Some INC features, such as the device panel and topology applets, require NPAPI plugins to operate correctly. To use these features in INC through a browser like Firefox, make sure the browser supports the required NPAPI plugins.
- The 64-bit Firefox does not support NPAPI plugins (including JAVA), and support for NPAPI plugins is disabled in Firefox 52 and later. To access INC features correctly through Firefox, use 32-bit Firefox of a version earlier than Firefox 52 or use Firefox ESR of a version later than Firefox 52. The operating system on which Firefox runs must have the 32-bit JAVA plugin installed. For more information about limits to the NPAPI plugin support in Firefox, visit the following website:https://www.java.com/en/download/help/firefox_java.xml
