Modify Telnet Template

This function helps you modify the parameters of a telnet template.

Operation Procedure

1. Click the System tab. From the navigation tree, select Resource Management > Access Parameter Template to enter the access parameter template page. Click the Telnet tab to enter the Telnet template management page.
2. In the Telnet template list, click the of a telnet template.
3. The Modify Telnet Template page is displayed.
4. Modify one or more parameters, and click OK.

Parameters

• Name: Name of the telnet template.
• Authentication Mode: You can select from Password, Username + Password, Super Password, Password + Super Password, Username + Password + Super Password,Username + No Password, and No Username + No Password.
• Username: The name with which you can telnet to the device.
• Password: The password for you to log in.
• Super Password: The password of the super operator of the device.
• Timeout: The longest period of time for the system to wait for the device's response, ranging 1 to 60. Unit: second.
• Public: This option is selected by default to permit all operators to access the template. If you clear the option, the template is accessible only to the operator groups in the Access Right area.
