Topology
This function helps you locate the specified device in the topological view.
Operation Procedure
Approach 1
- Follow any of the following methods to enter the subview/device list page of a custom view:
- Click the Resource tab, and then on the navigation tree, click View Management > Custom View to enter the Custom View List page. Click a custom view in the list to enter the Subview/Device List page.
- Click the Resource tab, and then on the navigation tree, click a custom view to enter the Subview/Device List page of the custom view.
- On the Subview/Device List page of a custom view, click the link of a subview name.
- Click the
icon of a device or subview.
- The topology page is displayed and the specified view or device is selected.
Approach 2
- Follow any of the following methods to enter the subview/device list page:
- Click the Resource tab, and then on the navigation tree, click View Management > All devices to enter the Device List - All page.
- Click the Resource tab, and then on the navigation tree, click a device view to enter the Device List - All page.
- Enter the Device List - All page through the Query function.
- Click the icon
of a device.
- A window which shows all the views or subnets containing the device is displayed. On the window, select the view or subnet you want to locate and click OK.
- A topology view is displayed. In the popup topology view, the specified subnet or device is selected.
Approach 3
- Follow any of the following methods to enter the subview/device list page of an IP view:
- Click the Resource tab, and then on the navigation tree, click View Management > IP View to enter the Device List - All page.
- Click the Resource tab, and then on the navigation tree, click an IP view to enter the Device List - All page.
- Click the
icon of a device or subnet to pop up the topology page. The specified subnet or device is selected.
