Modify a Port Group

This function allows you to modify a port group.

Operation Procedure

1. Click the Resource tab, and select View Management > Port Group from the navigation tree.
2. On the port group list, click the icon of the port group you want to modify.
3. Modify the name and description of the port group, and configure operator groups that can access the interface view.
4. Configure whether to automatically add new interfaces to the interface view. If Based on Specified Rule is selected from the Automatically Add New Interfaces list, configure the Interface Alias Rule field. In the Select Interfaces area, click Add to add interfaces.
5. Click OK.

Precautions

• A port group can accommodate up to 1000 interfaces.
• The name of a port group must be unique.
• To ensure that the current operator can access the port group, verify that the operator group of the operator is selected.
• The interface alias rule supports asterisks (*) and question marks (?) as wildcards. The asterisk represents any collection of characters and the question mark represents any single character.
