Event Management

This function manages events that SCC sends to the Intelligent Policy Center module.

It displays received events, matches policies, and takes actions based on matched policies.

Precautions

• The event information is generated and sent by background tasks or network devices to SCC. SCC then sends received alarms to the Intelligent Policy Center module. For SCC to receive and process device alarms, make sure the alarm source address configured on a device is the same as the device's management IP address in the system. The management IP address of a device is the IP address used for adding the device to the system.
