Authorized Time Range Policy Management

Use the authorized time range policy management function to configure time ranges. Device users can be authorized according to these policies.

Features

• Add Authorized Time Range Policy
  
  Perform this task to add an authorized time range policy.

  Procedure

  1. Click the User tab, and select Device User Policy > Authorization Conditions > Time Ranges from the navigation tree to open the Authorized Time Range Policy List page.
  2. Click Add to open the page for adding an authorized time range policy.
  3. Type the authorized time range policy name, which must be unique in TAM.
  4. Select the effective time.
  5. Click Add in the Authorized Time Range Information area. The Authorized Time Range Policy Information dialog box appears.
  6. Select an authorized time range type, which can be Once, Yearly, Monthly, Weekly, or Daily.
  7. Select the start time and end time. If the authorized time range type is Once, the start and end time must be in the format of YYYY/MM/DD/HH/MM/SS; if the authorized time range type is Yearly, the start and end time must be in the format of MM/DD/HH/MM/SS; if the authorized time range type is Monthly, the start and end time must be in the format of DD/HH/MM/SS; if the authorized time range type is Weekly, the start and end time must be in the format of HH/MM/SS; if the authorized time range type is Daily, the start and end time must be in the format of HH/MM/SS.
  8. Click OK.
  9. Repeat steps 5 through 8 to add more authorized time ranges. The effective authorized time range is a combination of all authorized time ranges you have configured.
  10. Click OK.
• Modify Authorized Time Range Policy
  
  Perform this task to modify an authorized time range policy.

  Procedure

  1. Click the User tab, and select Device User Policy > Authorization Conditions > Time Ranges from the navigation tree to open the Authorized Time Range Policy List page.
  2. Click the icon of the target authorized time range policy to open the page for modifying the policy.
  3. Modify the policy parameters. For more information about the parameters, see Add Authorized Time Range Policy.
  4. Click OK.
• Delete Authorized Time Range Policy
  
  Perform this task to delete an authorized time range policy. You cannot delete authorized time range policies that are used by authorization policies.

  Procedure

  1. Click the User tab, and select Device User Policy > Authorization Conditions > Time Ranges from the navigation tree to open the Authorized Time Range Policy List page.
  2. Click the icon of the target authorized time range policy.
     A confirmation dialog box appears.
  3. Click OK.
