Deploy VLAN

This function allows you to assign ports on different devices to a VLAN in batches.

• For an access port, the assignment changes its PVID.
• For a trunk port, the assignment adds one more allowed VLAN.
• For a hybrid port, the assignment adds one more tagged VLAN.

Operation Procedure

1. Click the Service tab, and then select VLAN Management >Batch Deploy from the navigation tree.
2. Click the VLAN link.
3. Type the VLAN ID and VLAN name, and click Add to select the devices or ports to be configured.
4. Click the Set VLAN Interface link for a listed device to create a VLAN interface for it. If the VLAN interface you created already exists on the device, the settings of the new VLAN interface overwrite the original ones.
5. Click OK.

Precautions

• The VLAN ID ranges from 1 to 4094.
• A VLAN name is a string of up to 32 characters, allows only letters, numbers, spaces, hyphens (-), underscores (_), and plus sign (+), Support for spaces in the VLAN names varies by device vendor.
