A group VLAN is identified by the VLAN ID range on a device. For example, 1-5 identifies VLANs 1 through 5.

What is the difference between VLAN configuration on 3Com devices and that on the other devices?

VLAN Manager supports VLAN configuration for 3Com devices. However, VLAN management provides only VLAN configuration and port VLAN configuration for 3Com devices.

Does batch VLAN deployment automatically filter out devices?

Yes. Some devices will be filtered after you select a group in batch VLAN deployment. For example, in batch deployment of trunk ports, after you select a VLAN device group, you cannot find a 3Com device in the device list. According to the features to be deployed, VLAN Manager can filter devices that do not support the deployed features.

Why isn't the interface information of Juniper EX4200 devices displayed in the system VLAN management?

The default VLAN is 0 on Juniper EX4200 devices. All interfaces belong to VLAN 0 by default. However, VLAN 0 is considered an invalid VLAN in the system VLAN management and the system VLAN management filters all interfaces of the Juniper EX4200 devices. To solve this problem, modify the default VLAN into VLAN 1 for Juniper EX4200 devices.

Why isn't the VLAN range of Juniper EX4200 devices displayed in the system VLAN management?

The system VLAN management does not support VLAN ranges and does not display the VLAN range for Juniper EX4200 devices.
