Creating an Aggregation Group

This function allows you to create an aggregation group for the device.

Operation Procedure

1. Select the Resource tab.
2. Select the device to be managed from the device list to enter the Device Details page.
3. Click the Port Aggregation Management link in the Device Management list.
4. On the Port Aggregation Management page, click Add to enter the page for creating an aggregation group.
5. Input the aggregation group ID, select an aggregation group type, an aggregation group mode, and then click OK to finish the operation.

Parameter Description

• Aggregation Type: Aggregation group type, Aggregation groups fall into Layer 2 aggregation groups, which can contain only Layer 2 Ethernet ports, and Layer 3 aggregation groups, which can contain only Layer 3 Ethernet interfaces.
• Aggregation ID: Unique identifier of an aggregation group on the device.
• Aggregation Mode: Aggregation group mode, which can be static or dynamic. LACP is disabled on member ports of a static aggregation group, while LACP is automatically enabled on member ports of a dynamic aggregation group.
