MDC Management

A physical device can be virtualized into multiple logical devices called "multitenant device contexts (MDCs)." Each MDC uses its own hardware and software resources, runs independently of other MDCs, and provides services for its own customers. From the user's perspective, an MDC is a standalone physical device.

Operation Procedure

View MDC Configuration

1. Click the Resource tab.
2. From the navigation tree, select View Management > Device View.
3. From the device list, click a device label to view its details.
4. Select MDC Management from the Device Management menu on the right.

Add an MDC

1. Click Add on the MDC Management page.
2. Enter the MDC name and click OK.

Change MDC Status

Click the Switch icon to start or stop the MDC.

Delete an MDC

On the MDC Management page, select the MDC to be deleted, and click Delete.
