Configure Port Aggregation for HPE Devices

Port Aggregation Manager allows you to view, add, modify, and delete member ports of aggregation groups on HPE devices.

Operation Procedure

  1. Click the Resource tab, and then select View Management > Device View from the navigation tree.
  2. Click the device to be managed on the Device List page to enter the Device Details page.
  3. Click the Port Aggregation link in the Device Management area on the lower right corner of the page.
  4. To assign a port to an aggregation group, click Add, select the port, an aggregation mode, and an LACP state, enter the aggregation group ID, and click OK.
  5. To modify the settings of a member port, click the Modify link for the member port on the Port Aggregation Management page.
  6. Modify the aggregation group ID and aggregation mode, and click OK.
  7. To delete one or more ports from their aggregation groups, select them on the Port Aggregation Management page and click Delete.

Precautions

  1. The Port LACP State parameter is valid only for member ports in a dynamic aggregation group, and the Aggregation ID parameter is valid only for member ports in a static aggregation group.
  2. When you delete a member port from a dynamic aggregation group, the system automatically sets the port's LACP state to Passive and aggregation mode to Static.
