Configure RADIUS Servers
This function allows you to configure RADIUS servers for an access device, including the RADIUS authentication servers, RADIUS accounting servers, and global 802.1X.
Operation Procedure
- Select the Resource tab.
- Select the device to be managed from the device list to enter the Device Details page.
- Click the RADIUS Server Configuration link to enter the RADIUS Server Configuration page.
- Type a scheme name and information such as the IP addresses of the primary servers, the shared secrets, and the domain name. Click OK.
Parameters
RADIUS Authentication Server Configuration
- Scheme Name: Name for the RADIUS scheme, a string of up to 32 characters.
- Primary Server IP: IP address of the primary authentication server. Only IPv4 addresses are supported at present.
- Primary Server UDP Port: Port number of the primary authentication server, in the range from 1 to 65535. The default is 1812.
- Secondary Server IP: IP address of the secondary authentication server. Only IPv4 addresses are supported at present.
- Secondary Server UDP Port: Port number of the secondary authentication server, in the range from 1 to 65535. The default is 1812.
- Shared Secret: Shared secret for exchanging authentication and accounting messages with the RADIUS servers. It can be a string of up to 64 characters.
- Service Type: Type of the RADIUS service, Standard or Extended.
- Username Format: Format of usernames sent to the RADIUS servers, With domain or Without domain.
- Domain Name: Name of the ISP domain, a string of up to 24 characters.
RADIUS Accounting Server Configuration
- Primary Server IP: IP address of the primary accounting server. Only IPv4 addresses are supported at present.
- Primary Server UDP Port: Port number of the primary accounting server, in the range from 1 to 65535. The default is 1813.
- Secondary Server IP: IP address of the secondary accounting server. Only IPv4 addresses are supported at present.
- Secondary Server UDP Port: Port number of the secondary accounting server, in the range from 1 to 65535. The default is 1813.
802.1X Configuration
- Global 802.1X Status: Indicates whether to enable 802.1X globally. It can be Enabled or Disabled.
- Authentication Mode: Authentication mode, CHAP, EAP, or PAP.
