IP POS Terminal Management

An IP POS terminal connects to a front end processor in TCP access mode.

To display, add, delete, and modify an IP POS terminal, follow the procedures.

Operation Procedure

    Display an IP POS terminal

  1. Select the Resource tab.
  2. Click the target device from the device list.
  3. From the right navigation tree select POS Applications under POS Access.
  4. Select the IP POS Terminal tab.
  5. Add an IP POS Terminal

  6. On the IP POS terminal list page, click Add.
  7. Configure the parameters and click OK. For more information about the parameter settings, see the section Parameters.
  8. Modify an IP POS Terminal

  9. Click the modify icon of an IP POS terminal.
  10. Modify the settings, for example the POS terminal name, and click OK.
  11. Delete an IP POS Terminal

  12. Select the IP POS terminal you want to delete, click Delete.

Parameters

Item Description
POS Terminal ID Uniquely identifies a POS terminal.
POS Terminal Name Description for the POS terminal.
Listening Port Listening port on the router, in the range 1 to 65535.
POS App Connection Connection state of the POS application.
Invalid: No interface or listening port is configured.
Linking: The connection is being established.
Linked: The connection is established.
Multilink: Multiple TCP connections are established for the POS terminal.
