An E1POS interface is used in the POS dial-up access mode. POS access through an E1POS interface features high access density, short connection time, and high connection rate. It allows batch configuration when abundant POS terminals are connecting to the interface.
On the E1POS interface management page, you can view and configure the E1POS interfaces that connect to the device.
Item | Description |
Interface | Description for the interface |
Clock | Clock of the E1POS interface, which can be Slave or Master. |
Framing Format | Framing format of the E1POS interface, which can be CRC4 or No CRC4. |
Line Code | Line code of the E1POS interface, which can be AMI or HDB3. |
Signaling Type | Options are None, PRI, and R2. |
Group ID | The group ID is displayed when the signaling type is R2. To modify the group ID of an E1POS interface, you must first modify the signaling type. |
Time Slots | Time slots assigned for the E1POS interface. It ranges from 1 to 31. Time slots are displayed when the signaling type is PRI or R2. To change the times slots of an E1POS interface, you must first change the signaling type. To specify time slots, follow the methods: 1) To specify multiple individual time slots, type the numbers separated by commas (,), for example, 1,3,5. 2) To specify a range of time slots, type the start and end numbers separated by a hyphen (-), for example, 4-9. 3) To specify both specific time slots and time slot ranges, use the combination of the methods above. For example, 1,3,4-9. |
D-Channel Interface | Value is available for the field when the signaling type is PRI. |
FCM Interface | FCM channel of the E1POS interface. |
