Operation Procedure
- Select the Resource tab.
- Select the device to be managed from the device list to enter the Device Details page.
- Click BGP in the protocol management list.
Parameter Description
BGP Attribute

Local AS Number: Each AS has a unique number, an integer in the range of 1 to 65535. AS numbers are uniformly assigned by InterNIC.

BGP Local ID: BGP ID of the local system. Generally, it is the IP address of the device.
Basic Information

Peer ID: ID of the BGP peer.

Status: Connection status of the BGP peer, which can be idle, connect, active, opensent, openconfirm, or established.

Negotiated Version: BGP negotiation version run between two peers

Local IP Address: Local IP address of the BGP connection.

Local Port: Local port of the TCP connection between BGP peers.

Peer IP Address: Remote IP address of the BGP peer.
-
Remote Port: Remote port of the TCP connection between BGP peers.

Remote AS: Remote AS number.
Statistic Information

Peer IP Address: IP address of the BGP peer.

Updates Received: The number of received BGP update messages in this connection.

Updates Transmitted: The number of transmitted BGP update messages in this connection.

Total Messages Received: The total number of messages received from the remote peer in this connection.

Total Messages Transmitted: The total number of messages transmitted to the remote peer in this connection.

Last Error: Last error code and sub-code seen by the peer in this connection.

Fsm Established Transitions: Times of BGP FSM transiting to “Established” status.

Fsm Established Time(s): Duration when the peer is in “Established” status.
Time Attribute

Peer IP Address: IP address of the BGP peer.

Connection Retry Interval(S): Interval (in seconds) of retrying connections.

HoldTime(S): Interval (in seconds) of the hold timer established with the peer.

KeepAlive(S): Interval (in seconds) of sending KeepAlive messages to the peer.

HoldTime Configured(S): Hold timer interval (in seconds) configured for the BGP addresser and peer.

KeepAlive Configured(S): KeepAlive timer interval (in seconds) configured for the BGP addresser and peer.

Route Advertisement Interval(S): Interval of transmitting routing information.

Update Elapsed Time(S): Interval from the last time of receiving update packets to now.
BGP4 Path Information
- IP Address Prefix: IP address prefix of the NLRI domain.

IP Address Prefix Len: IP address prefix length of the NLRI domain.
- Peer IP Address: IP address of the peer.
-
Origin: Path information origin: igp, egp, or incomplete.

AS Path Segment: AS path segment sequence.
-
Next Hop: Next hop address of the destination network.
-
Multi Exit Metric: The value is used to distinguish multiple exits of adjacent AS.

Priority: Priority of the original BGP4 addresser advertisement route.

Aggregate Route Selection: Whether the local system selects non-specific route or the specific route: LessSpecificRouteNotSelected: non-specific route; lessSpecificRouteSelected: specific route.

Aggregator AS: AS number of the BGP4 addresser executing route aggregation.

Aggregator IP Address: IP address of the BGP4 addresser executing route aggregation.

Local Priority Calculated: Priority calculated by the BGP4 addresser receiving route for the advertisement route.

IsBest: Is the local route selected as best route?

Unknown Attributes: One or more attributes unknown for the BGP4 addresser. 0 indicates that there are no such attributes.
