OSPF
Operation Procedure
- Select the Resource tab.
- Select the device to be managed from the device list to enter the Device Details page.
- Click OSPF in the protocol management list.
Parameter Description
OSPF Attribute
-
Router ID: Unique ID of a router in an AS.

OSPF Status: OSPF protocol management status.

OSPF Version: Version of the current OSPF protocol.

Is Area Boarder Router: Whether the router is an area boarder router.
-
Is AS Boarder Router: Whether the router is an AS boarder router.
-
ASE-LSA Count: Sum of ASE-LSAs in the LSDB. LSDB: Link State Database. AS-LSA: AS-external-LSA, type5 LSA, which is generated by the ASBR to describe the routes to other ASs and advertised to the whole AS (excluding STUB areas).

Sum of The ASE-LSA checksums: Sum of ASE-LSA checksums in the LSDB.

ToS Support: The router's support for ToS routes.

New LSA Originated: Number of new LSAs originated by this router.

New LSA Received: Number of new LSAs received.
Area Information-
Area: Area uniquely identified by a 32-byte integer.

Auth Type: Specifies the authentication type of the area, which can be: None(0) indicating none authentication, Simple(1) indicating plain text authentication, or MD5(2) indicating MD5 authentication.

Import AS External LSA: Whether the area supports importing LSAs outside of the AS.

Spf Calculation: Times that the link state of the area is used to calculate routing tables in the area.

ABR: Number of reachable ABRs in this area.
-
ASBR: Number of reachable ASBRs in this area.
-
LSA: Number of LSAs in the LSDB of this area.
-
Sum of LSA Checksum: Sum of LSA checksums in the LSDB of this area.
Stub Area Information

Area: Area number of the stub area.
-
ToS Type: ToS that the next metric belongs to.

Default Route Metric: Metric of the default route imported to the stub area.

Status: Status of this line, which can be active, notInService, or notReady.
LSDB Information
-
Area: Number of the area that the LSA belongs to.

Type: LSA type, which can be routerLink, networkLink, summaryLink, asSummaryLink, or asExternalLink.

LS ID: LS ID of the LSA.
-
Originating Router: ID of the router originating the LSA.
-
Serial Number: LSA serial number.
-
Age(S): Generation time of the LSA.
-
Checksum: Checksum of the LSA.
Extended LSDB Information

Type: LSA type, which can be routerLink, networkLink, summaryLink, asSummaryLink, or asExternalLink.

LS ID: LS ID of the LSA.
-
Originating Router: ID of the router originating the LSA.
-
Serial Number: LSA serial number.
-
Age(S): Generation time of the LSA.
-
Checksum: Checksum of the LSA.
OSPF Interface-
Interface Address: IP address of the OSPF interface.
-
Area: Area where the interface resides.
-
Type: Broadcast when the link layer protocol is Ethernet, or FDDI; nbma (Non Broadcast MultiAccess) when the link layer protocol is ATM, frame-relay, HDLC, or X.25; pointToPoint when the link layer protocol is PPP, LAPB, or POS; pointToMultiPoint: no link layer protocol will be regarded as Point-to-Multipoint by default. It is usually formed through manually modifying NBMA when the NBMA network is not connected completely. By default, the interface network type is Point-to-Point.

Available Status: Indicates whether the interface is available.

Priority: Priority of the router.
-
Transit Delay (s): LSA transmission delay.
-
Retrans Interval (s): LSA retransmission interval.

Hello Interval (s): Interval at which the interface transmits hello packets.

Dead Time Interval(s): Dead interval of the peer interface.
-
Poll Interval(s): Polling interval of the dead peer.
-
Status: Interface status, which can be down, loopback, waiting, pointToPoint, designatedRouter, backupDesignatedRouter, or otherDesignatedRouter.

DR: IP address of the designated router (DR).
-
BDR: IP address of the backup designated router (BDR).
-
Events: Times of interface status changes or errors.
-
Authentication Key: Plain text authentication key of the interface.
Interface ToS Metric

Interface: IP address of the OSPF interface (interface index when OSPF interface has no IP address).

Interface ToS Type: ToS type of the OSPF interface.
-
Route Metric: Route metric of the OSPF interface.
Peer Information
-
Peer Address: IP address of the peer interface (interface index when the interface has no IP address).

Router ID: Router ID of the peer.
-
Priority: Priority of the peer.
-
Status: Status of the relationship with the peer, which can be down, attempt, init, twoWay, exchangeStart, exchange, loading, or full.
-
Events: Times of peer relationship status changes or errors.
-
Length of Retransmission Queue: Length of the current retransmission queue.
Virtual Link Interface

Transit Area: Transit area of the virtual link.
-
Peer Router ID: Router ID of the virtual link peer.
-
Transit Delay(s): LSA transmission delay.

Retrans Interval(s): LSA retransmission interval.

Hello Interval(s): Interval at which the interface transmits hello packets.

Dead Time Interval(s): Dead interval of the interface peer.

Status: Interface status of the virtual link.

Events: Times of virtual link interface status changes or errors.

Virtual Link Peer

Transit Area: Area number of the transit area.

Peer Router ID: Router ID of the virtual link peer router.

Peer Address: IP address of the virtual link peer.

Status: Status of the virtual link peer, which can be Down, Attempt, Init, TwoWay, ExchangeStart, Exchange, Loading, or full.

Events: Times of peer relationship status changes or errors.
