Add/Modify Radio Policy

Perform this task to add or modify a radio policy.

Procedure

1. Click the Service tab, and then select Resource Management > ACs from the navigation tree.
2. Click the device label for the target Aruba AC to view its details.
3. Click Radio Policy in the Wireless Service area to the right of the page.
4. Click Add to add a radio policy, or click the Modify icon for a radio policy to modify the policy.
5. On the page that appears, configure the radio parameters as needed, and then click OK.

Parameters

• Radio Policy Name: Enter a unique name for the radio policy. This field cannot be null.
• Radio Type: Select the radio type. Options are 802.11a and 802.11g.
• Admin Status: Select the administration status for the radio. Options are Up and Down. A radio can operate only when its Admin Status is UP.
• Channels in Use: Select the working channel for the radio based on the radio type. The channel ranges for 802.11a and 802.11g radios are different.
• Current Transmission Power (dBm): Select the transmission power for the radio. Options are values in the range of 0 to 51 and Max. If you select Max, the transmission power for the radio is 127 dBm.
