Add/Modify WLAN
Perform this task to add or modify a WLAN.
Procedure
- Click the Service tab, and then select Resource Management > ACs from the navigation tree.
- Click the device label for the target Aruba AC to view its details.
- Click WLAN Configuration in the Wireless Service area to the right of the page.
- Click Add to add a WLAN, or click the Modify icon
for a WLAN to modify it.
- Configure WLAN parameters as needed, and then click OK.
Parameters
- Profile Name: Enter a unique profile name that contains 1 to 32 characters.
- SSID: Enter a unique SSID that contains 1 to 32 characters.
- Admin Status: Specify the administration status for the WLAN. Options are Enable and Disable. Only WLANs in Enable state can be used by APs to provide wireless access services.
- Broadcast SSID: Select whether to carry on SSID in probe packets sent by APs. Options are Enable and Disable. By default, this parameter is set to Enable.
- Security Policies: Select a security policy for the WLAN. Options are None and Static WEP.
- Encryption Key: Enter the WEP encryption key. Configure this parameter when you select Static WEP as the security policy.
