Set Synchronization Parameters

Perform this task to set synchronization parameters so that a device can be synchronized immediately when it receives a polling message from the platform or an alarm or when configuration is deployed to the device.

Procedure

1. Click the Service tab.
2. From the navigation tree, select WLAN Manager > Configuration Management to open the Configuration Management page.
3. Click the Common tab, and then click Synchronization Configuration to open the synchronization configuration page.
4. Select Synchronize Device Upon Alarm or Synchronize Device Upon Configuration Deployment as needed.
5. Click OK.

Parameters

• Synchronize Device Upon Alarm: The device is synchronized immediately when the device receives an alarm.
• Synchronize Device Upon Configuration Deployment: The device is synchronized immediately when configuration is deployed to the device.
• Synchronize Device Upon Polling Message from Platform: The device is synchronized immediately when the device receives a polling message from the platform.
