View WLAN Overview
Perform this task to view information about WLANs in lists and graphs.
Procedure
- Click the Service tab.
- From the navigation tree, select WLAN Manager > Overview.
Remarks
- Resource Statistics: Displays the number of ACs, fat APs, or fit APs and the number of alarms of each severity level in real time.
- To view devices with alarms of a specific severity level, click the bar for the level in the bar chart.
- Total Clients: Displays the Top 5 vendors, OSs, or client types with the most clients.
- To view detailed client information, click Details. The page that opens displays client distribution by vendor, OS, or client type in percent.
- Client Count: Displays history statistics about client associations, including the client association trend, peak client quantity, average client quantity, and current online client quantity.
- To filter the statistics by time, click Today, 1h, 1d, 1w, 1m, 1y, or Custom.
- To view information about the Top N clients, click the TopN link at the upper right corner of the widget.
- AP Bandwidth: Displays AP bandwidth history statistics, including transmission and receiving rate trends, peak transmission/receiving rate, and average transmission/receiving rate.
- To filter statistics by time, click Today, 1h, 1d, 1w, 1m, 1y, or Custom.
- To view information about the Top N bandwidth, click the TopN link at the upper right corner of the widget.
- Located Client Trend Graph: Displays the located client trend, including located associated client trend, located unassociated client trend, peak associated/unassociated client quantity, and average associated/unassociated client quantity.
- To filter the statistics by time, click Today, 1h, 1d, 1w, 1m, or Custom.
- Rogue AP and Rogue Client: Displays the number of rogue APs and the number of rogue clients detected by APs.
- To view rogue APs, click the rogue AP quantity link.
- To view rogue clients, click the rogue client quantity link.
- Shop Entry/Exit Clients: Displays the Top N shops with the most clients. The system determines whether a client enters or exits a shop based on the distances between the client and APs deployed in or out of the shop.
- To adjust the number of displayed shops, select a value from the TopN list at the upper right corner of the widget. Options include 5 and 10.
- Channel Utilization: Displays the Top N AP radios with the highest channel usage.
- To adjust the number of radios to display, select a value from the TopN list at the upper right corner of the widget. Options include 5 and 10.
- Wireless Alarm: Displays the number of unrecovered alarms of each severity level.
- To view unrecovered alarms of a specific severity level, click the number link for the level.
- Unrecovered Wireless Alarms: Displays unrecovered wireless service alarms.
- To adjust the number of alarms to display, select a value from the TopN list at the upper right corner of the widget. Options include 5 and 10.
- To view more unrecovered alarms, click More.
- To view detailed information about an alarm, click the description for the alarm.
- Clients-By frequency: Displays client distribution by frequency.
- To view detailed client information, click Details at the upper right corner of the widget.
- Fit AP Model: Displays fit AP distribution by model.
- To view information about APs of a specific model, click the corresponding part of the pie chart.
- Busy AP List: Displays information about busy APs.
- To adjust the number of APs to display, select a value from the TopN list at the upper right corner of the widget. Options include 5 and 10.
- To set the associated client threshold, click Setting. An AP is determined as busy if the number of its associated clients reaches or exceeds the threshold. By default, the threshold is 40.
- To view information about all busy APs, click Details.
- To view clients associated with an AP, click the client quantity link for the AP.
- Reasons for Association Failures-Today: Displays the reasons for association failures in the current day.
- To view detailed information about association failures in the current day, click Details.
- SSIDs by Clients: Displays the Top N SSIDs with the most associated clients.
- To adjust the number of SSIDs to display, select a value from the TopN list at the upper right corner of the widget. Options include 5 and 10.
- To view clients associated with a specific SSID, click the client quantity link for the SSID.
- Clients with Lowest RSSI: Displays the Top N clients with the lowest RSSI.
- To adjust the number of clients to display, select a value from the TopN list at the upper right corner of the widget. Options include 5 and 10.
- To view the RSSI statistics about all clients, click Details.
- APs with Highest Channel Utilization: Displays the Top N APs with the highest channel usage.
- To adjust the number of APs to display, select a value from the TopN list at the upper right corner of the widget. Options include 5 and 10.
- To view channel usage statistics about all APs, click Details.
- Client Tx Speed: Displays the Top N clients with the highest transmission rate.
- To adjust the number of clients to display, select a value from the TopN list at the upper right corner of the widget. Options include 5 and 10.
- Client Rx Speed: Displays the Top N clients with the highest receiving rate.
- To adjust the number of clients to display, select a value from the TopN list at the upper right corner of the widget. Options include 5 and 10.
- Transmitted Client Traffic: Displays the Top N clients with the most transmitted traffic.
- To adjust the number of clients to display, select a value from the TopN list at the upper right corner of the widget. Options include 5 and 10.
- Received Client Traffic: Displays the Top N clients with the most received traffic.
- To adjust the number of clients to display, select a value from the TopN list at the upper right corner of the widget. Options include 5 and 10.
- Total Client Traffic: Displays the Top N clients with the most total traffic.
- To adjust the number of clients to display, select a value from the TopN list at the upper right corner of the widget. Options include 5 and 10.
