Import Authorized AP List

Perform this task to import an authorized AP list for a single AC or multiple ACs.

An authorized AP provides a list of APs by MAC addresses. An AC compares the MAC address of a detected rouge AP with the MAC addresses in the authorized AP list. If there is a match, the AC classifies the detected rouge AP as an authorized AP.

Procedure

1. Click the Service tab, and then select WLAN Manager > WIDS > WIDS Config from the navigation tree.
2. Click the Operation icon for an AC, and then select Import Authorized AP. Or select one or more ACs, and then click Import Authorized AP in the Device List area.
3. Select the file to be imported, and then click OK.

Remarks

• Only HP devices support the enablement operation.
• In a batch operation, if you do not select an AC, the list is imported into all ACs.
