Import Fit AP Extension Attributes

WSM enables you to customize fit AP attributes. Perform this task to define extension attributes for fit APs as needed. With the configuration file /client/conf/wlan/extendproperty.xml in WSM's installation path, you can define 10 extension attributes at most for each fat AP and import extension attribute values in batches.

Procedure

1. Click the Service tab.
2. From the WLAN Manager navigation tree, select Resource Management > Fit APs to open the Fit AP List page.
3. Click Import Extension Attributes.
4. Select the file to be uploaded, and then click Next.
5. Select the column for each attribute. Or you can select Do not select from the file, and then enter a value in the field.
6. Click Next to display the result.

Remarks

• Only .csv files can be imported, and each row must have the same number of columns.
• WSM always considers the first row of the imported file as column headings, and it does not import the first row.
• If you select Do not select from the file and specify a different value, your setting applies to all imported attributes.
• Serial numbers of fit APs are used as the keywords for importing extension attributes.
