Add Task
This function enables you to add a task for devices you selected.
Operation Procedure
- Click the Service tab, and then click ACL Deployment in the navigation tree.
The Task Management page appears.
- Click a deployment wizard link to configure the corresponding deployment information.
- Click Deploy. The Add Task page appears.
- Specify a task name and description for the task you add.
- Select the deploy order and error handling mechanism.
- Set the execution time.
- The Deploy Details list displays the target devices. You can click the Preview commands icon
corresponding to a device to view the command lines.
In case of any errors, return to modify the commands, and then deploy the task again.
- Click OK.
Precautions
- Deploy the task to a single device or multiple devices:
- Multi-device deployment: Select multiple devices.
- Single device deployment: Select one device.
- After the task deployment, you can view the execution result in the task list, and click the result link to enter the Task Result page.
Parameters
- Task Name: Uniquely identifies a task.
- End Time: Specifies the time when the task execution ends.
- Result: Includes Succeeded, Part Succeeded, Failed and Uncompleted.
- Preview Commands: Displays the command lines for interaction with the device.
