Add Task

This function enables you to add a task for devices you selected.

Operation Procedure

1. Click the Service tab, and then click ACL Deployment in the navigation tree.
   The Task Management page appears.
2. Click a deployment wizard link to configure the corresponding deployment information.
3. Click Deploy. The Add Task page appears.
4. Specify a task name and description for the task you add.
5. Select the deploy order and error handling mechanism.
6. Set the execution time.
7. The Deploy Details list displays the target devices. You can click the Preview commands icon  corresponding to a device to view the command lines.
   In case of any errors, return to modify the commands, and then deploy the task again.
8. Click OK.

Precautions

• Deploy the task to a single device or multiple devices:
  • Multi-device deployment: Select multiple devices.
  • Single device deployment: Select one device.
• After the task deployment, you can view the execution result in the task list, and click the result link to enter the Task Result page.

Parameters

• Task Name: Uniquely identifies a task.
• End Time: Specifies the time when the task execution ends.
• Result: Includes Succeeded, Part Succeeded, Failed and Uncompleted.
• Preview Commands: Displays the command lines for interaction with the device.
