Deployment Task Management
Deployment Task Management
This function enables you to manage the device deployment tasks. With the task deployment, you can:
- Add tasks
- Delete a tasks
- Modify tasks
- Suspend tasks
- Start a waiting task
ACL Management provides powerful deployment functions and multi-perspective views for task management and deployment. The ACL definition/use deployment tasks allow you to configure ACLs in batches under a general plan.
- Deployment order: Two deployment orders are:
- Parallel: Indicates that the task is performed on all the target devices simultaneously without effect on each other.
- Serial: Indicates that the task is performed on devices one by one in a specific order. If the configuration on any device fails, the error handling mechanism starts.
- Execution time: You can run the task Immediately or schedule a time for ACL Management.
- Immediately: Executes the deployment task immediately after configuration completion.
- Scheduled time: Specifies the deployment task to start at the time your specify (YYYY:MM:DD HH:MM).
- Task control: Depending on the task status, you can start, stop, delete, or modify the task. If you stop a running task, the started deployments continue, while those yet to be started are not executed.
- Error handling: Defines how to handle errors occurring during the task deployment. The error handing includes:
- Stop all deployments when error occurs.
- Clear and stop all deployments on the faulted devices.
- Stop deployments only on faulted devices.
- Clear deployments on faulted devices only.
- Deployment confirmation: Before a task is deployed, the expected result (content of the deployment task) is displayed in the summary page with specific command lines.
To view deployment task list:
Click the Service tab, and then click ACL Deployment in the navigation tree. The Task List appears.
You can filter the tasks by task status.
Select a status from the Task Status list, and all the tasks matching the selected status are displayed in the list.
