Import BIOS Serial Numbers

Perform this task to import BIOS serial numbers to the BIOS serial number pool.

Procedure

1. Click the User tab. From the navigation tree, select User Access Policy > Access Policy > BIOS Serial Number Pool.
2. Click Batch Import.
3. Select a file that stores the BIOS serial numbers, select the column separator, and then click Next.
4. Select columns for the BIOS serial number and description. For the serial number description, you can select Not Imported, and then enter a description in the field next to the description list.
5. Click OK.

Parameters

The column separators include space, Tab, comma (,), the pound sign (#), and the dollar sign ($).

Remarks

It might take a few minutes to import a large number of BIOS serial numbers.
