Access Topology

This function allows you to create a access topology, and add access devices and other network devices to the topology view to facilitate your management. You can create multiple access topology, which can be viewed by all the other operators.

A access topology shows a certain type of access devices and other network devices. To easily draw a topology view, you can first use the auto link function to a draw a topology and then make manual changes to the devices or links as needed. The status of a topology view depends on the status of the device with the highest alarm level. This can help you focus on the important alarms raised by the devices in the view.

Precautions

• The status of a access topology depends on the status of the device with the highest alarm level in the topology view.
• If a view does not include any device, its state is Unmanaged.
• Each view can include multiple devices, and each device can be grouped to different views.
