Access Service Topology
This function provides a graphical interface where you can easily manage access devices and users.
Procedure of Opening a View
- Select the User tab, and then select Access Topology from the navigation tree to enter the topology view of access service page.
- Click the View Name link corresponding to a view in the topology view list.
Basic Functions
The basic functions of access service topology are provided by the topology platform. For details, see Network Topology Operation Guide.
Special Functions
- Access service topology icons, including icons for Access service node, Access user status, and Access link status.
1) Access service node:
indicates access devices;
indicates access users;
indicates locked access users.
2) Access user status:
indicates offline users;
indicates users that have passed the security authentication;
indicates users that require no security authentication, are waiting to be security authenticated, or have unknown security status;
indicates users that did not pass the security check and are thus warned or monitored;
indicates users that did not pass the security check and are thus to be isolated, isolated or to be kicked out.
3) Access link status:
indicates that the user connected by this link is offline;
indicates that traffic on this link is abnormal;
indicates that traffic on this link is critically abnormal;
indicates that traffic on this link is normal.
- Add Topology View: Right-click at the blank area of the topology view and select Add Topology View from the shortcut menu. Type a view name in the popup dialog box and click OK. Then the topology view is added to the current topology.
- Add Device to This View: Click
on the toolbar, or right-click at the blank area of the topology view and select Add Device to This View from the shortcut menu. Select a device from the device selection page that appears. If adding device succeeds, the device is added to the current topology. If the device/view is deleted, or your rights are changed during device addition, the topology view will be updated automatically.
- Display and Lock Terminals: This operation applies to all access devices in the current view. Click
on the toolbar or right-click at the blank area of the topology view and select Display and Lock Terminals from the shortcut menu. Enter the query criteria in the dialog box that appears.
- If you are not going to lock users, click OK in the dialog box to display users that match the query criteria in the topology view. When an online user goes offline, it disappears from the topology a few seconds later. If a new user that matches the query criteria goes online and the number of users in the topology has not exceeded 200, the topology will display the new user.
- If you want to lock users, select Lock Selected User Below. Terminal users that match the query criteria and are currently not locked will be displayed in the user list on the lower part of page. Select users you want to lock from the user list and then click OK. Users that match the query criteria (including users that are locked and not locked) will be displayed in the topology. Icons that carry the
mark indicate locked users. When a locked user goes offline, its icon grays out but remains in the topology; if it goes online again, the color of its icon will renew according to its new security check result.
- Lock: Right-click the icon of an unlocked user terminal in the topology and select Lock from the shortcut menu to lock the selected user terminal.
- Unlock: Right-click the icon of a locked user terminal in the topology and select Unlock from the shortcut menu to unlock the selected user terminal.
- Send Message: You can send a message to a single user or all the users connected to an access device. Right-click an access device node or a user node in the topology, and then select Send Message from the shortcut menu. Type the message you want to send in the dialog box that appears, and then click OK.
- Kick Out Users: You can kick out a single user or all the users connected to an access device. Right-click an access device node or a user node, and then select Kick Out Users from the shortcut menu. Click OK in the dialog box that appears.
- Query Online Users: Right-click an access device node and select Query Online Users from the shortcut menu. The online user query page appears, displaying all the online users connected to the access device.
- Clear User Online Info: Right-click an access device node and select Clear User Online Info from the shortcut menu. Click OK in the dialog box that appears.
- Configure Access Device: Right-click a non-access device node and select Configure Access Device from the shortcut menu. The access device page appears.
- Set as Non-Access: Right-click an access device node and select Set as Non-Access from the shortcut menu. Click OK in the dialog box that appears.
- View Configuration: Right-click an access device node and select View Configuration from the popup menu. The access device details page appears.
- Add to Denylist: Right-click a user node and select Add to Denylist from the shortcut menu. Click OK in the dialog box that appears.
- Unblock: Right-click a user node and select Unblock from the shortcut menu. Click OK in the dialog box that appears.
- Security Check: Right-click a user node and select Security Check from the shortcut menu. The security check page appears.Computer security check items do not appear if the DAM component is deployed.
- Query User Details: Right-click a user node and select Query User Details from the shortcut menu. The online user details query page appears.
Precautions
- Up to 200 users (including users that are locked and not locked) can be displayed in a topology view.
