Web Application System > BYOD
With Web Application System > BYOD configured, the system automatically performs BYOD authentication for a user after the user passes web application system authentication.
Configuration Procedure
- Click the User tab on the top navigation bar, and then select User Access Policy > Service Parameters > Unified Authentication from the left navigation tree.
- Click the configuration icon of the Web Application System > BYOD configuration item.
- Configure the parameters and click OK.
Parameters
- Enable: Enables the Web Application System > BYOD configuration. All configuration items are grayed before this parameter is selected.
- Shared Key: Ensures communication security between the web application system and the BYOD Server. A shared key must be an eight-character string, which can contain only letters, numbers, and the following characters: ~ ` ! @ # $ % ^ & * ( ) _ - + { [ } ] | : " ; ' < , > . /
- Timestamp Valid Time: The period within which the web application system and the BYOD Server trust each other after they have finished an entire packet exchange process. It ranges from 5 to 60, in minutes.
Precautions
- Unified authentication implemented in this way does not allow an access user to modify the password. If the operator has selected the Modify Password at Next Login option for the access user on the Add Access User page, the user will be forced to log out 10 minutes after login.
