Portal > Web Application System
The Entrance Type Scenario uses an authentication page in the entrance directory of PortalWeb. You can also specify a URL that the browser automatically opens for successful authentication.
The Non-Entrance Type Scenario uses an authentication page not in the entrance directory of PortalWeb. For example, you can specify a page in the root directory of PortalWeb for authentication. You can also specify a URL that the browser automatically opens for successful authentication.
Configuration Procedure
- Click the User tab on the top navigation bar, and then select User Access Policy > Service Parameters > Unified Authentication from the left navigation tree.
- Click the configuration icon of the Portal > Web Application System configuration item.
- Configure the parameters and click OK.
Parameters
Entrance Type Scenario parameters
- Enable: Select this option to enable this scenario.
- Shared Key: Specify a shared key to ensure communication security between the Portal Server and the Web application. The value is a case-sensitive string of eight characters that contain letters, digits, and the following characters: tilde (~), back quote (`), exclamation point (!), at sign (@), pound sign (#), dollar sign ($), percent sign (%), caret (^), ampersand sign (&), asterisk (*), left parenthesis ((), right parenthesis ()), underscore (_), hyphen (-), plus sign (+), left brace ({), left bracket ([), right brace (}), right bracket (]), vertical bar (|), colon (:), quotation marks ("), semi-colon (;), apostrophe ('), left angle bracket (<), comma (,), right angle bracket (>), dot (.), and slash (/).
- Display "Portal authentication only": Select this parameter to display the "Portal authentication only" option on the portal authentication page for terminal users. Then, a user can select this option to automatically log in to the web application system after passing portal authentication. If the user does not select this option, the user needs to pass identity authentication to log in to the web application system after passing portal authentication.
- Selected by default/Not selected by default: The two options are available after you select the Display "Portal authentication only" option. They determine whether the "Portal authentication only" option is selected or not by default on the portal authentication page.
- Redirect to URL after Portal Authentication: Specify a URL in standard format http://XXXXXXXX. The URL will automatically open for the user who passes identity authentication through the portal Web page or iNode DC.
Non-Entrance Type Scenario parameters
- Enable: Select this option to enable this scenario.
- Shared Key: Specify a shared key to ensure communication security between the Portal Server and the Web application. - Redirect to URL after Portal Authentication: Specify a URL in standard format http://XXXXXXXX. For a user whose user group is not specified with a Redirect URL after Portal Authentication, this URL will automatically open when the user passes identity authentication through the portal Web page or iNode DC.
- Click Add and specify a Redirect URL after Portal Authentication for a user group. This URL will automatically open for a user in this user group who passes identity authentication through the portal Web page or iNode DC.
