Add/Modify Port Group

This function helps you add/modify port group for a Portal device.

Operation Procedure

1. Select the User tab, and then in the navigation tree click User Access Policy > Portal Service > Device to enter the Portal Device page.
2. Click corresponding to a Portal device in the device information list to enter the Port Group page.
3. Click Add or click corresponding to a port group in the port group information list.
4. Enter the information about the port group, such as port group name, start port, end port and IP group.
5. Click OK.

Precautions

• When adding or modifying a port group, make sure that at least one IP address group is available for the device using the port group. One IP address group can belong to only one device, while one device can have multiple IP address groups.
• According being NAT or not, IP address group will filter automatically.
• The end port you set when adding or modifying a port group must be larger than or equal to the start port,The port name is not case sencitive. None of the start port, end port, or IP address group can be identical with that of any existing port group of the current device.
• The heartbeat timeout you set when adding or modifying a port group must be larger than or equal to twice of the heartbeat interval.
