Deploy Attributes

Perform this task to configure the user group attributes to be deployed to devices by default.

Operation Procedure

1. Click the All Access Users tab, and then click the User Group link to enter the User Group page.
2. Click Deploy Attributes to open the User Group Attribute Deployment Configuration page.
3. Click Add to add an attribute configuration item.
4. Enter the attribute ID, name, type, and value, and then select the type of the deployment target device.
5. Click OK.

Parameters

• Attribute ID: Unique ID of the attribute, an integer in the range of 0 to 255.
• Attribute Name: Unique name of the attribute. The value can include only numbers, letters, underlines, and hyphens (-). A maximum of 64 characters are supported.
• Attribute Type: Field type of the attribute. Options include String, Unsigned Integer, Time, and IPv4 Address.
  • String: String of up to 247 bytes.
  • Unsigned Integer: Unsigned integer in the range of 0 to 4294967295.
  • Time: The value must be in yyyy-MM-dd or yyyy-MM-dd HH:mm:ss format, in the range of 1970-01-01 to 2038-01-01 or 1970-01-01 00:00:00 to 2038-01-01 00:00:00, respectively.
  • IPv4 Address: IPv4 address in the range of 0.0.0.0 to 255.255.255.255.
• Attribute Value: Value of the attribute. The validity of the attribute value depends on the attribute type of the attribute.
• Device Type for Deployment: Specify a device type for deployment of the attribute. For more information about access device type configurations, see Access Device Type Management.
