Import Accounts in Batches
This function is used to import accounts in batches.
Operation Procedure
- Click the User tab on the top navigation bar, and then select Access User > Batch Operations in the navigation tree.
- Click on the Import Accounts in Batches radio button, and click Next.
- On the page that appears, configure the following options :
- Import file: Select the file that contains the accounts to be imported.
- Column separator: Select the column separator in the file to be imported. The column separators include: space, Tab, comma (,), colon(:), number sign (#), and dollar sign ($). For example, import a file with a line of content "test,,001, a ,10.153.128.151" with the comma as the column separator. The line contains the following columns: "test", null, "001", " a ", and "0.153.128.151". When importing a file, make sure that a proper column is selected for each account parameter. Otherwise, you will fail to import the access accounts. For example, if you select the second column as the account name, your configuration will fail.
Spaces at the front or end will be filtered when the content is imported, except for the password column. For example, the fourth column " a " will be imported as "a" when it is selected for a non-password column.
- Imported User State: The state of an imported user can be Trial or Normal.
- Header Line Filtering: Select this option to filter the first line of the imported file when the first line contains the header.
- On the page that appears, select a column in the file for each access account parameter. Or select Not Imported for a parameter and then type the parameter value in the textbox. You can import the following information: basic information, access information, access device binding information, and terminal binding information.
- Click OK to start importing access accounts.
- Click Preview to preview data to be imported, including the access information, access device bindings, and terminal bindings for user accounts.
Precautions

- When importing access users in batches from a .txt file, select a non-space column separator as a best practice. If you select space as the column separator, a header line field that contains spaces will be split into multiple fields.
- During bulk account import, if an account to be imported has the same username and identity number as an existing account in the system, the system does not update the existing account information.
