Query and Maintain Accounts in Batches
This function allows you to process account related information in batches, including modifying access accounts, cancelling access accounts, applying for services, cancelling services, and blocking access accounts, batch payment, time compensation,approving trial accounts, temporarily canceling access users, restoring temporarily cancelled access users, applying for trial service, and canceling trial service.
- The modifying accounts function is used to modify the access information and the access device binding information of the access accounts in batches. For descriptions of related parameters, refer to the parameter description section on the Add/Modify Access Accounts page.
- The cancelling accounts function is used to cancel multiple access accounts at a time.
- The applying for services function is used to apply for one or more services for multiple access accounts at a time.
- The cancelling services function is used to cancel one service for multiple access accounts at a time.
- The blocking access accounts function is used to add multiple access accounts to the denylist at a time.
- The batch payment function allows for paying the same fee for multiple accounts.
- The changing account type function allows for changing account between prepaid and ordinary.
- The time compensation function is used to postpone the ending time of the billing term to compensate multiple accounts.
Operation Procedure
- Click the User tab, select Access User > Batch Operations from the navigation tree to enter the Batch Operations page, select Query and Maintain Accounts in Batches, and then click Next to enter the Query and Maintain Accounts in Batches page.
Type the query conditions and click Preview. The matched access accounts will be displayed in the access user list. To restore the default query conditions and query accounts information by the default query conditions, click the Reset button.
- Or, click the User tab, select Access User > All Access User s from the navigation tree to enter the page displaying all access users.
Type the query conditions and click Query. The matched access accounts will be displayed in the access user list. To restore the default query conditions and query accounts information by the default query conditions, click the Reset button.
- After the matched access accounts are displayed in the list, you can perform the following configurations on different pages:
- Modify Account: Click the Modify Account button to enter the account information modification page. Modify the parameters as needed and then click OK. The operation result page will be displayed.
- Cancel Account: Click the Cancel Account button and the operation result page will be displayed.
- Apply for Service: Click the Apply for Service button to enter the service list page. Select the service(s) to apply for and then click OK. The operation result page will be displayed.
- Cancel Service: In the Query Access User area, select the service to be cancelled from the Service Name drop-down list and click Query or Preview . All accounts that use the service will be displayed in the access user list. Click the Cancel Service button. The operation result page will be displayed.
- Add to Denylist: Click the Add to Denylist button. The operation result page will be displayed.
- Batch Pay:
Click the Batch Pay button to enter the payment page. Type the fee and click OK. The result page appears.
- Change Type: Click the Change Type button and then the account type is changed. The result page appears.
- Compensate: Click the Compensate button to enter the perform the time compensation operation. The result page appears.
- Approve Trial Account: Click the Approve Trial button. On the confirmation dialog box that appears, click OK. The result page appears. On the Query and Maintain Accounts in Batches page, this function is available only when you select Trial from the Account State list.
- Temporarily Cancel Trial Users: Click the Temp Cancel button. On the confirmation dialog box that appears, click OK. The result page appears. On the Query and Maintain Accounts in Batches page, this function is available only when you select Normal from the Account State list.
- Restore Temporarily Cancelled Users: Click
the Undo Temp Cancel button. On the confirmation dialog box that appears, click OK. The result page appears. On the Query and Maintain Accounts in Batches page, this function is available only when you select Temporarily Cancelled from the Account State list.
- Assign Trial Service: This function allows you to apply for a trial service to replace the current service when the current service expires. Select a service from the Service Name list, and click Assign Trialservice to enter the service list page. Select the service that is to be replaced by the trial service, and click OK. The result page appears. This function is available only when you select a service that uses a period-type accounting policy from the Service Name list.
- Cancel Trial Service: This function
allows you to cancel a trial service that is associated with the current service. Select a service from the Service Name list, and click Cancel Trialservice to enter the service list page. Select the service to replace the current service, and click OK. The result page appears. This function is available only when you select a service that uses a period-type accounting policy from the Service Name list.
- On the operation result page, you can view the operation results, and download the temporary log file by clicking the Download button.
Precautions
- You cannot modify the fast access account.
- You cannot modify the computer account.
- You cannot modify the default BYOD user account.
- When Forcibly Log Out Users is selected, the system forces online access accounts (including roaming online access accounts) to go offline and then cancels these accounts. If this option is not selected, the online access accounts cannot be canceled.
- If the CAMS component is deployed, cancelling an account clears all overdue records of the account, and the overdue records cannot be queried any more.
- The modifications of the password or password strategy of the accounts bound with the LDAP server do not take effect.
- The modifications of the password or password strategy for a Mute Terminal user do not take effect.
- You can apply for one or more services for accounts at a time, but you can cancel only one service for accounts at a time.
- You can download the temporary log file on the operation result page. However, you cannot download the log file any more after the operation result page is closed.
- The operations of changing account type, batch payment, time compensation, applying for a trial service, and canceling a trial service are available only after CAMS is installed.
- The option of Frozen is available from the Account Status drop-down list only after CAMS is installed.
- The Change Type button is grayed out unless the accounts are of the same type.
- The applying for and canceling trial service functions are available only when you select a service that uses a billing period-type accounting policy.
- In bulk modification of user accounts, enabling third-party authentication does not take effect on LDAP users.
