Precautions
- Note that clearing online information and kicking out users are two different functions:
1. Kick out users: The operator clicks the button to kick out a user. The configuration console sends the packet to the access device or the iNode client, which initiates a logoff request to the RADIUS server. The server then logs off the user.
2. Clear online information: A terminal user initiates a logoff request, and logs off after the request arrives at the access device. In the transmission from the device to the RADIUS server, the packet is missing or the device is powered off and restarts, which makes the request fail to reach the RADIUS server. In this case, the user appears online in the system. To delete the online information and records the access details, operators need to perform the clearing operation.
- The UDP request for kicking out users may be missing, which will cause the problem that the users may appear in the hang state in the system. Refresh the online list to confirm your operation.
